1. Independence National Park and the Liberty Bell

2. Hershey Park

6. Fallingwater

Fallingwater is an artificial structure located in Mill Run, Pennsylvania. The house was designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright, and was built in 1937. The home and its furnishings have been designated a National Historic Landmark. 

It is one of only two houses that Wright designed, and built, Taliesin West in Arizona. This house has become famous because it was featured on the cover of the December 1939 issue of House Beautiful magazine, which is recognized as America’s premier interior design magazine.

7. Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal Market is located in downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The market is a cultural, and historic treasure that has operated since 1872. The market hosts more than 100,000 visitors each year and attracts over 40,000 people each weekend.

8. Phipps Conservatory

The Phipps Conservatory is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The conservatory is a greenhouse, and botanical garden operated by Pittsburgh. The conservatory consists of more than 200,000 plants native to Pennsylvania. 

The garden is home to several different types of tropical plants, and a wide variety of trees, shrubs, and flowers. You can also visit the museum, which contains many interesting artifacts related to the history of the Phipps Conservatory, and botany in general.

9. Eastern State Penitentiary

Eastern State Penitentiary is a former prison located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was the first penitentiary in the United States and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition to being a prison, it was also used as an insane asylum. 

It is now a museum that contains many exhibits that showcase the history of Eastern State Penitentiary, and other prisons in Philadelphia.

10. Pennsylvania State Capitol

The Pennsylvania State Capitol is located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It is the seat of government for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It was built in the 1820s and has been the site of many important events over the years. The building has been used as a hotel, a state office building, and even a fort during the Civil War. 

During World War II, it also served as a prison, housing German prisoners of war until they were transferred to other camps. Today it is open to tourists who can take guided tours through parts of the building that have not changed since its construction almost 200 years ago.
