My kids and hubby are outdoorsy. Not a whole lot like hiking through back country and climbing precipices, but way more than me. And even more so than our new puppy – Alpha Lady – who is a Shih Tzu, not exactly known to be the greatest canine athlete.
After a lot of begging for Alpha and me to join them on their nature walks, I folded. Although she is only around 12 pounds, if carried for a long time in the arms can truly make any walk miserable.
Which is what happened the first time. However, I did love getting outdoors with the family, and even with the doggy.
That’s when I needed a solution and, guess what, I found it in a doggy back pack!

When we first got it, I was concerned how will she stay in it. And will she even like it.
She loved it!
How could she not, it’s so cozy on the inside, spacious and I carry her on my back. The bottom of the bag has a cushion making it feel like her bed.
There are plenty of different zippers for her head or her full body.
I loved the amount of compartments and pockets that the backpack has. You don’t need to carry another one with for your own stuff, which fits comfortably inside.
I want one for me.
