Once Once, Antigua: True Vegan Restaurant in Antigua Hotel

Today we’re going to be talking about Once Once,  Antigua, Guatemala. Are you guys ready for an adventure? Let’s begin.

Once Once is the only true 100% vegan restaurant in Antigua, Guatemala. And I know a lot of times when you say a vegan restaurant, a lot of people are like a “vegan”.

Once Once, Antigua

However, this restaurant really offers an incredible menu, cuisine, the flavors. So I have taken quite a few people who are not vegan, and they have just loved the restaurant because of the flavors, because of the way it is done.

Location

Also, it’s in this beautiful location. You walk through your typical Antigua-style kind of building where you enter, and it looks like this tiny little door that just opens up into this tiny little place, and then it opens up into this gorgeous courtyard. Very romantic, even though it’s very family oriented, you could bring your pets there, and it’s just lovely.

The Food

The food is delicious, honestly. They have fantastic appetizers and entrées and desserts, and they have wine and beer. It’s lovely, we normally go for dinner, but you could go for lunch as well. It’s a lovely experience.

They also have this pulled pork sandwich, which is really, really flavorful. And obviously, they have all these other pasta dishes.

They have different tacos, so the variety is really wide enough for you to be able to enjoy anything. And a lot of times, you won’t even realize you’re eating in a vegan restaurant. I really recommend checking this place out.

Reservations

Normally, you don’t need to make reservations.

However, on weekends and evenings, I would recommend calling and making a reservation. My absolute favorite dish there is cauliflower. It’s phenomenal.
