HD-139: PA House Primary Preview

The countdown is underway to the 2024 Pennsylvania presidential primary. In our continuing series, PoliticsPA takes a look at the 2-for-1 election in Pike and Wayne Counties.
PIKE and WAYNE COUNTIES
139th State House District Robin Skibber (D) vs. Jeffrey Olsommer (R) – special election Matthew Contreras (R) vs. Jeffrey Olsommer (R) Two races in one day for the three candidates in the 139th. Skibber and Olsommer contend in a special election to replace Rep. Joe Adams, while Contreras vies for the GOP nomination in November, also against Olsommer.

Skibber is a lifelong Pike County resident who has worked 22 years in a bipartisan manner bringing funding and services to the community. She has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood.

Protect access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare. Education. Increased access to mental health services, as well as special education and vocational programs.
