In our continuing series, PoliticsPA takes a look at the 2-for-1 election in Pike and Wayne Counties.
Skibber is a lifelong Pike County resident who has worked 22 years in a bipartisan manner bringing funding and services to the community. She has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood. Health Care. Supports increased funding for emergency services and greater access to urgent, acute and affordable long term care services. Reproductive Rights. Protect access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare. Education. Increased access to mental health services, as well as special education and vocational programs. Supports universal school lunches for all students. Environment. Supports local conservation initiatives and prioritizes funding for environmental protection.
Olsommer has experience as a business owner and chair of the Sterling Township Board of Supervisors. He has the endorsements of Adams, Sens. Lisa Baker and Rosemary Brown, as well as Rep. Jonathan Fritz.
Election Integrity. Support mail-in voting with proper registration and ID tools employed. Would require voter ID for in-person voting.
Reproductive Rights. Would not support any changes to state’s abortion laws.
Contreras supports a limited government that promotes economic responsibility and does not use tax dollars as a political slush fund.
Election Integrity. Wants to adopt Voter ID, eliminate Act 77, institute full precinct control of all ballots and end ballot harvesting.
Education. Would call for elimination of the school property tax, and implement universal school choice.
Reproductive Rights. Does not believe government and taxpayer dollars should fund abortion. Committed to restoring legal protection for preborn children.
Constitutional Rights. Wants to expand 1st and 4th amendment protections while safeguarding against 2nd amendment infringements.

Skibber and Olsommer contend in a special election to replace Rep.
