Donald Trump Is A Criminal - All the Receipts (So Far)

Business fraud, real estate fraud, charity fraud, education fraud, tax fraud, election fraud, sedition, government corruption, classified document theft, obstruction of justice, sexual assault, conspiracy to overturn the lawful results of the 2020 election, and more.

Donald J. Trump of Palm Beach, Florida, is a criminal. Here is the evidence, so far.

November 2016: Donald Trump paid $25 million to settle civil charges by New York’s attorney general that his unaccredited real estate school, Trump University, defrauded its students.

December 2019: Donald Trump paid $2 million and was forced by New York’s attorney general to shut down the Donald J. Trump Foundation in a civil settlement for illegally misusing charitable donations for political and personal purposes.

December 2019: The U.S. House of Representatives impeached Donald Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress for seeking to condition the delivery of U.S. aid to Ukraine on that country announcing it would investigate campaign rival Joe Biden. (After a Senate trial, 48 senators voted guilty and 52 voted not guilty, short of the 67 votes required for conviction.)

January 2021: The U.S. House of Representatives again impeached Donald Trump, this time for “inciting violence against the government of the United States” in his effort to deny and overturn his 2020 election loss to Biden. (After a Senate trial, 57 senators voted guilty and 43 voted not guilty, short of the 67 votes required for conviction.)

January 2023: The Trump Organization, Donald Trump’s business operation, was fined $1.6 million, the maximum penalty, by a New York state court after the company was convicted by a jury of 17 criminal felonies, including tax fraud and falsifying business records, resulting from the scheme to provide senior company executives with apartments, car leases, and money for personal expenses without declaring taxable income.

April 2023: Donald Trump was indicted by a New York state grand jury in Manhattan on 34 criminal counts of falsifying business records in order to conceal damaging information and unlawful activity, including hush money payments, from voters in 2016.

May 2023: A New York federal jury in a civil case ordered Donald Trump to pay E. Jean Carroll $5 million for battery and defamation after it found that Trump sexually abused Carroll in a department store dressing room in 1996.

June 2023: A federal grand jury in Florida indicted Donald Trump on 37 criminal felony counts, including 31 under the Espionage Act, the indictment concluding that Trump “endeavored to obstruct the FBI and grand jury investigations and conceal retention of classified documents.”

July 2023: A federal grand jury in Washington, DC, indicted Donald Trump on four criminal felony counts, accusing Trump of conspiracies to defraud the United States, to obstruct an official proceeding, and to deny citizens’ their rights to have their votes counted, all in connection with Trump’s efforts to overturn the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, which he knew he had lost.

August 2023: A Fulton County, Georgia, grand jury indicted Donald Trump and eighteen others for violations of the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act and for other criminal offenses, based on their alleged efforts to overturn the 202o presidential election.

February 2024:  Following a trial brought by New York’s attorney general, a New York state trial judge found Donald Trump liable for civil fraud, holding that Trump, his sons, and his business inflated Trump’s net worth to obtain favorable terms from banks and insurance companies, ordering Trump to pay a $364 million penalty, and barring Trump for three years from serving in a key role at any New York company.

Donald Trump has denied that he has engaged in criminal activity. But then he is a notorious liar.

We’ll check back soon.
