Right off Interstate 20 in Dallas, Trinity Forest Adventure Park is the first and only aerial adventure park of its kind in the state. Here, families can climb, soar, scramble and swing to their heart’s satisfaction.

The seven-acre park boasts seventy different elements such as tight ropes, wobble bridges, cargo nets, and so on, and over twenty zip-lines (from 10 to 75 feet off the ground). Designed for ages six and above, these obstacles are spread over six aerial courses, each with varying difficulty.

Aside from the aerial courses, Trinity Forest Adventure Park also offers a variety of recreational activities during the summer. They include fishing, rock climbing, swimming, and pony rides among others.

Klyde Warren Park

Named after the young son of billionaire Kelcy Warren, Klyde Warren Park is a 5.2-acre public park located in the heart of Dallas.

The park was opened in 2012 to serve as a gathering place for locals and visitors to enjoy, as well as for the purpose of encouraging more pedestrian foot traffic to the area. Today, Klyde Warren Park abounded with year-round programs, ranging from children’s entertainment, film screening, and musical performances to lawn games and fitness and dance sessions.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark

Billed as a “cruise ship on land,” Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark is a year-round 80,000 square-foot, indoor/outdoor waterpark with a retractable roof. It boasts of 11 different waterslides, including the first indoor double rider Aquasphere inner tube ride and the nation’s tallest indoor Aqualoop.

Those not into waterslides have various options to enjoy as well. There’s a full-service bar, a café, and a 4,000-square-foot arcade. Additionally, there is a kiddie play area, a 10,000-square-foot wave pool, and a surf simulator.

River Ranch at Texas Horse Park




Things to Do in Dallas, Texas


River Ranch at Texas Horse Park is the best place to saddle up in the middle of Dallas. It’s a first-class facility designed to provide kids and families with a great outdoor adventure experience.

This 600-acre equestrian facility is located within minutes of Downtown Dallas. It’s for those looking to tap into their inner cowboy (or cowgirl). Ages nine and over can enjoy all levels of guided horseback rides. Younger children (3-9 years) can also enjoy these horseback rides, but with a hand-guided pony ride.
