Family Convenience at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando Florida

Arnold Palmer Bay Hill Golf Resort in Orlando Florida

We are back in Orlando! This time to Universal. I waited for us to head to Universal until my youngest was five years old, since, unlike Disney, this park seems to be more for kids five and up. At least most of the rides, over 75%, can be enjoyed by this age group.

I debated staying at the resort at first. However, since we don’t visit Orlando too much, I wanted it to be a full destination trip, not only Universal.

I’ve been eyeing out Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge for years. I first stumbled upon it a couple of years ago when I decided Universal was the place to visit. But with my baby being only three years old, I’ve put it off. But make no mistake, my vision for us staying here never faltered.

Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Golf Resort Review

Family Oriented and a Great Location

Bay Hill Golf Resort is one of the oldest golf resorts in the area. Arnold Palmer, one of golf’s absolute greats, had a vision for Orlando around the same time Disney decided to build his theme park here.

You can say both are visionaries, and staying at this resort truly makes you see his dream come true.

And the best part, even though you feel completely removed from the theme parks and attractions that now flood Orlando, you are in an oasis, and it’s only ten minutes away from it all.

A great escape during your escape.

  •  Since taking ownership in 1975, Palmer has polished the original visions of Bay Hill.
  • In 1979, Arnold Palmer successfully negotiated Bay Hill as the venue to host a major event on the PGA TOUR.
