The Los Angeles Rams all-in push got off to a good start as the first weekend of the NFL Playoffs concluded. On a special Monday night edition, the Rams handled the Arizona Cardinals with ease, 34-11, at SoFi Stadium.

Everything worked for Sean McVay’s team and Matthew Stafford finally got a playoff victory. Midseason acquisition Odell Beckham Jr. had a monster game, scoring a touchdown and even throwing a beautiful pass completion.

What made Beckham’s night even better was that he earned an extra $500,000 while setting NFL postseason history in the victory. Yeah, that sounds like a good night.

Odell Beckham Jr. did everything for the Rams on Monday night against the Cardinals and set an NFL Playoffs record

When Beckham came over from the Cleveland Browns during the season, everyone wondered how he would fit in. Well, they have made it work.

On Monday, Beckham had four catches for 54 yards and a touchdown and added a perfect 40-yard completion to Cam Akers on some trickery in the third quarter.

That’s the first time in NFL postseason history where a player has thrown a 30-yard pass and made a 30-yard reception in the same game.

More than that, it shows the versatility of Beckham, who continues to squash any belief that he was the problem in Cleveland. Perhaps it was Baker Mayfield after all.

Beckham now has a touchdown in three of the Rams’ last four games and six since joining LA. It’s safe to say he fits in rather nicely.

Beckham’s night went from good to great after remembering his incentive structure. An extra half-million dollars will head to Beckham’s bank account with the victory.

As the Rams head East to face the Buccaneers, Beckham must be thinking about his next incentive — which would earn him an extra $750,000.

Nonetheless, the playoff victory is the best part for Beckham, who has enjoyed a ton of success in LA and might stick around next year if he decides to.

Beckham continues to show that he can still play at a high level, and teams might be willing to throw him a nice paycheck in free agency when March rolls around.

Odell Beckham Jr. needs to be a big part of the game plan against the Buccaneers

The Rams matchup against the Buccaneers comes with a good and a bad side. The good news? The Rams defeated Tampa Bay in LA earlier this season.

The bad news? They have to play at Raymond James Stadium this time around, and Brady and the offense are clicking despite a long list of injuries.

If the Rams want any chance at moving on to the NFC title game, they need a monster outing from Beckham. His touchdown catch in the first quarter against the Cardinals was a perfect example of using his athleticism.

McVay and offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell have figured out how to use Beckham effectively. Plays like these are his bread and butter. Get up, use that physicality, and create a 1-on-1 matchup. Stafford delivered a perfect ball, and Beckham did the rest.

While the story all season has been Cooper Kupp, the Rams need Beckham to step up against Tampa Bay. If not, the offense might have trouble generating offense, especially with the mastermind of Todd Bowles controlling the Buccaneers’ defense.

Can Beckham net an extra $750,000 and help the Rams win another playoff game? We shall see.
